Our History
From Tradesman to Trusted Roofing Partner
Garcia Roofing didn’t start overnight — it was built on decades of real hands-on experience and a reputation for doing things the right way.
Before founding Garcia Roofing, Santo Garcia spent more than 25 years as a foreman for one of North America’s largest roofing companies, where he led crews, trained installers, and managed complex commercial roofing projects.
That experience taught him two things that still guide the company today:
- Quality work comes from skilled people and proper training, not shortcuts.
- A project isn’t complete until the client understands what was done and why.
Santo Garcia, takes an active role in projects, site visits, and quality control, not from an office, but on the roof. When our name is on the truck, we take personal responsibility for the work.
That’s how our clients know exactly who they are dealing with before, during and after the project.
In 2013, Santo brought that philosophy home — literally. With decades of field experience and a desire to build something rooted in integrity and long-term relationships, he launched Garcia Roofing in the Southern Ontario market. What began as a family-oriented business quickly grew into a trusted roofing partner for building owners, developers, and property managers.
Even as the company has grown, the values Santo brought with him remain front and centre: family, accountability, craftsmanship, and care. Those aren’t just feel-good words, they are the standards that every crew member lives by on every roof.
